South Auckland Motors
South Auckland Motors, a true champion of the community, supports the Great Kiwi Road Trip by deploying multiple support vehicles throughout the year and for our on-road March and October events. This unwavering dedication could not be possible without the help of their Managing Director Michael Tappenden and Sales Manager Melissa Rushton.
Royal New Zealand Airforce
We've been very fortunate to have the unwavering support of the RNZAF for many years in the form of vital mechanical assistance. Each year they provide energised teams with the tools of the trade to help keep our charity car rally on the road. With the age and uniqueness of some of the vehicles, it often sees them improvising for mechanical parts and working through the night to keep our teams on the road. It's a great partnership, providing unique training situations for the crew to conduct repairs in weird and wonderful places!
AA Road Service
The AA is one of the most recognised and respected organisations in New Zealand. Since 2005 they have provided the Variety Bash and now the Great Kiwi Road Trip with crucial mechanical support for our many charity car rally events. Without their support, we simply couldn’t stay on the road! These amazing people, join forces with the Air Force and are often up throughout the night on our events doing running repairs so the vehicles can be back up and running to visit the kids in the morning.
EcoZip Adventures
EcoZip Adventures are a multi award-winning adventure tourism business. Their support for the Kiwi Kids Charity began in 2016 when they generously donated the exclusive use of their business for an entire day each year to host over 120 kids plus their caregivers. Their team make the day even more special by donning crazy costumes and sharing their time and enthusiasm with these amazing kids. It’s a day full of laughter, emotion and love and the EcoZip team enjoy just as much as the kids do!
